Monobloc VI Units provide economic solutions
AEV Iberica have manufactured the first of a range of Monobloc Vacuum impregnation Units. The standard range of plants, allow for a cost effective Vacuum impregnation solution, where the storage tank for the resin is integrated into the unit along with the impregnation vessel.
The plant has been sold to a Singaporean Customer, Asia Electric, who manufacture a range of larger power transformers. The resin selected was DAP resin which allows low temperature cure times and fast processing. With the plant, the customer is able to speed up production by 3 fold, purely by the ability to impregnate, drain and cure quickly. The VI units are available in a range of standard sizes from 500mm to 1000mm wide with impregnation depths possible of between 400mm and 650mm. The lead time on the units are short, with the ability to deliver a Total Solution to the customer, with the resin along side the tank at time of delivery.

AEV Exhibit at ELENEX KUALA LUMPUR '09
Between the 15th and 18th July AEV exhibited for the second time at this exhibition through their subsidiary AEV ASIA Sdn Bhd.
As a 'home' market, it is an important exhibition for the company as a whole. Richard Tweddle, AEV Ltd Operations Director, reported that the exhibition, although down on numbers, was consistent in quality of visitors. His visit to Malaysia was to coincide with the exhibition, along with a review of plant activity at the AEV ASIA site.
He managed to oversee the successful completion of an order for the distributor in Egypt, along with preparing the installation of a Vacuum Dispersion mixer to be used in the manufacture of filled Epoxy and PU compounds. These products were the focus of the exhibition, and with the ability soon to be able to produce such products in Malaysia, hope for rapid growth in this product area is key.

AEV Announce New Arrival
AEV Ltd is pleased to announce the arrival of a new replacement for Natacha Boyer, who, due to relocating back to France sadly left us in May.
Nader Gusemi joins us with a wealth of lingual expertise. Nader (29) speaks 5 languages which include Arabic, French, English, German and Italian. He has experience in retail management and has already, within his first few weeks, settled in well.
Due to the expansion of business within world markets we have found it necessary to support our Agents and Distributors worldwide with the addition of Nader to the AEV team.
As always at AEV, the initial baptism of fire has been survived. We are sure with the correct training that Nader will soon be up to speed with all aspects of AEV's manufacturing and delivery process. Also, the new training manual designed for the Agents and Distributors, has already proved to be of some considerable help to Nader in his education of the AEV range of products and their applications.

CWIEME BERLIN 2009
AEV are very happy with the results achieved by exhibiting at CWIEME 2009. Pre determined ideas about the number of visitors were dispelled once the show was running.
The overall enquiries received were very similar in quantity, but were somewhat better in quality. Due to a lot of companies restricting travel, it was felt that the visitors had more focus on why they were actually making the visit to Berlin.
